ETA: Never been to SD but I can tell you that you see women wearing burquas everywhere in the Northeast. Esp. in NY and Mass. At least I think they're women, but who actually knows.

Inadequate grid security, a porous U.S.-Mexico border, and fragile transmission systems make the electric grid a target for ISIS,” said Peter Pry, one of the nation’s leading experts on the grid.
Others joining Pry at a press conference later Wednesday to draw attention to the potential threat said that if just a handful of the nation’s high voltage transformers were knocked out, blackouts would occur across the country.
“By one estimate, should the power go out and stay out for over a year, nine out of 10 Americans would likely perish,” said Frank Gaffney, founder and president of the Center for Security Policy in Washington.
Wonder how many Americans get this......my bet most won't know what to do and will keep trying to turn on the phone and computer.

...and we have others who keep taking out one of our internet backbones.
Someone deliberately severed two AT&T fiber optic cables in the Livermore, Calif. Monday night, the latest in a string of attacks against the Internet's privately run backbone.
A few years ago it was the "hipster look" that was fashionable.
Now it's the ISIS look -- at least here in San Diego.
Young dark-haired men sporting mustaches and big beards.
Is this happening everywhere?
Is looking like a terrorist the new way to be "cool"?
When will we see burqas on their girl friends?
Wait...what?
Having dark hair and a beard makes you a terrorist wannabe?
Why couldn't they want to be good ol' fashioned American lumberjacks?
