Doesn't really change the argument. And keep in mind, I only adjusted the US ones. Removing suicides from the others would only lower those numbers too.
So you want to ban guns like Australia? Their homicide trend didn't change one bit.

So … It would be okay with you if somebody sold "nukes" to terrorists … ???
I was wondering when someone would bring this pablum into the conversation!

A couple of points:

You guys keep comparing gun homicides with anti-gun nations...how about just plain homicides per capita or assaults per capita? The whole point is that if you somehow disarm everyone the crime will continue...just with other means. Which brings me back to the solution of dealing with the CRIMINALS and not their tools.

Prisons are some of the most controlled and monitored places in the country and yet there are violent assaults, murders and weapons, including guns found regularly...how could that be?

By liberal logic prisons should be the SAFEST place to be...

No …

I served two years behind bars at a super max for adult male felons (as a chaplain, thank God !!!) …

Yes, there are occasional violent assaults in some pisons, and on very rare occasion, a fatality in some prisons … but not very many at all, considering the population held in tight confinement …

The point is that even with all of that control and strict rules and monitoring, it STILL happens! NO amount of control, laws etc. will ever stop it.

But we CAN reduce homicides by 80-90% by keeping those that commit these crimes off of the streets.

Adam Lanza took HIMSELF "off the streets" … (along with how many very young children … ??? -- Martyrs on behalf of The Gun Nut Culture … GOD FORBID that Adam Lanza would have been deprived of his Second Amendment rights, eh … ??? ) ...

You aren't the only one who has worked in Prisons and from what they claim, its not as "Peachey" as you claim. What your describing is a typical City, not a Max Security Prison.

Occasional Assault, in some, and on very rare occasions a fatality? ROFLMAO
