IF you don't wear a seat belt fine. But I also think paramedics should save that person as a last priority since a person driving a car without a seat belt clearly don't value his life very much.

Can you give me a link to support this?

That's what Workers Comp is for.

Premiums are based on the risk rating of the job.

No.
I also do not support mandatory helmet laws.
Nor do I like having bombs put in my cars to explode "air bags".

Yes I have. Motorcyclist skidded into a another car right in front of us as we were leaving a hospital parking lot. No helmet and her head was smashed.

Self fulfilling prophecies and a boot on your neck.

Just like:
They hate fossil fuels because they want to save the trees and nature... all while wind generators they love kill millions of birds and animals each year. Never mind the swaths of trees cleared out to build massive wind and solar farms.

Like I said: not strong forward thinkers
Like most people I am mixed bag when it comes to ideology.

Seatbelts, pro or con, is bipartisan.

Most who decline tend to be young males so maybe it's a maturity thing.

Pay the officers who write the tickets when they are not busy running into a community college with an active shooting in progress, while everyone else is running out.

That's the choice of those who choose not to comply with basic rule of the road.

Default Actually for seat belt laws

Never thought there would be 5+ pages on this discussion but I'm for seat belt laws but voted as the single "unsure" since it strangely was an option. Even after 5 pages of comments, not sure if anybody could truly be undecided on seat belt laws.

With other risky behaviors its simply accounted for in your insurance.
Smokers with individual heal are plans have been paying higher premiums than non smokers for about 15 years.

If you want to buy life insurance you are asked about risky behaviors and often require a physical. Your plan may exempt certain activities unless you buy a rider to cover them.

Healthcare premiums are based on actuarial risks. That 70% of us are overweight/ obese and thus more vulnerable to otherwise preventable risks, is baked into the cost. Those who manage a normal range weight/ waist size subsidize the majority who do not.
