So, it's just the sex that you don't like. You want to promote the inevitable baby-risk factor as a means to scare people out of having sex. Sex is for procreation. You get to have sex maybe 50 times in your life...no more than that. Sex merely for the pleasure of it is in itself a sign of irresponsibility. Am I getting warm, here?
No not at all, I just think if it results in a pregnancy they should take responsibility for it that's all. I know many people who have very active sex lives and have never had issues with contraception. God knows if it was that common I would have tons of kids.

Well, fine then, but you seem to be limiting people to taking responsibility only in the same way that you might or might approve of. Goes back to the earlier post about focus on outcome versus focus on process...
I certainly don't want to read through this entire thread, just wanted to say that this topic started with: quit arguing from an emotion and start arguing from rationality. However, I didn't get too far before the emotional arguments broke out on both sides...oh well. Also, the OP didn't offer much of a logical reason for his belief either.
At conception all the genetic information is present to fully and naturally develop into an indisputable human being. There is no point in the fetus' development that you cannot arbitrarily define as a human being--scientifically or philosophically. Granted that zygote is dependent on the mother to develop into that indisputable human being; but even infants and children are fully dependent on their parents for survival. The fact that a fetus' dependence is physical has no logical bearing on defining a fetus as inhuman. If physical dependence removed the essence of humanity from a person, then everyone on respirators would therefore be inhuman as well. Therefore, I believe that development in the womb is synonymous with the development of a human outside of the womb.
Note: If you think this is a slippery slope fallacy then take a closer look.
I think that people that think that sex is merely for pleasure must be sorry freakin lays. Maybe never actually had any?
