Good grief. What was the percentage of those who graduated high school 120 years ago? If a father loses his job to a Mitt Romney/Bains Capital investment in Communist China, falls a few months behind in his child support..........
And what public assistance are you referring to? SS, medacaid for the kids, perhaps $20 in food stamps per-month?

Yeah, I hate the way "progressivism" destroyed the labor movement in the 80s and eviscerated the middle class by directing all subsequent economic growth to the top 1%.

It also helps to craft policies and programs that appeal to and meet the needs of the people who live in our large Metropolitan areas (pop. 1 million of larger) since nearly 75 % of our people live in such places. Obama carried many of these area by landslide margins in both 2008 and 2012.
