Advertisements

As anybody who watches television has noticed, FanDuel and DraftKings commercials have pretty much taken over television breaks. That's because it's football season and both companies are looking for as much revenue as possible.

Next fall will also be football season. It will also be election season. If they want to get their message out, campaigns and SuperPacs better be prepared to pay exorbitant rates.

This will probably help the Democrats as the Repubs will be forced to spend more money in order to reach their male base.

I don't think it will have much of an impact. The commercials for Draft Kings and Fan Duel aren't making the rest of commercials more expensive.

I doubt if these companies will still exist for another year. They are obviously rigged casinos and the player pool will soon dry up.

Pacs and Super-Pacs WILL pay the money to do so. If not they are going to shoot themselves in the foot. Football's ad rates aren't set by the buyers, it is by the sellers.

They won't. Online gambling bans are on the state level.

Did you read something that indicated more expensive add space due to these recent commercials or are you just thinking that ads are probably more expensive and are running with an unproven premise?

idk. I'd make sure if I had a nice win on those that I never kept much of a balance with them. I know a guy or two that lost >10k when they shut down the poker sites and they never got their $$$ back. One was a semi-pro that had won an on-line tourney just a few days prior to the crackdown.

I don;t gamble because I'm a sore loser, especially when it comes to money. But this kind of thing is controlled by the states. Florida has a ban on online gambling.
