They (rightwingers) weren't happy about Fox, specifically Megyn Kelly. Trump trashed her after the event and temporarily boycotted Fox for two weeks. Point is, nobody makes these candidates happy. Several of the FOX (RNC's Network) were asked again last night (specifically tax plan quetions, Trump's bankruptcies). The rightwing's media bashing is getting very whiny and old.......these guys aren't ready for prime time.
Undecided voters want answers to questions like "what about that voting record, Sen Rubio?", or "who the hell are you going to deport 11 million people, Trump?" or "how do you expect to balance the budget on 10-15% tax rates, Dr Carson"...
The FACT that the moderators asked nothing substantive about what the candidates intended to do about the economy, the growing threat of ISIS , the unemployment rate, the need for jobs, the crippling regulatory bureaucracy, the despicable treatment of our Veterans, the criminal actions of the IRS, the spying by the NSA, the dissembling of the military..... but focused on gotcha questions to make Dems giggle with glee and tingles, PROVES that the media has no respect for the American public. Last night, they were call on it and they knew they had been outed as nothing more that the press pool for the DNC.
You seem to believe that the poor GOP candidates were victims of a liberal gang of thug commentators out to rip any shreds of substance or decorum from our wonderful journalistic system to compare our candidates. GET OUTTA HERE!!! Doesn't the GOP have a say in this? Don't think for a second they don't, they can set the rules before the fight, they can control the questions, they can say who participates, the agenda is scripted long before prime time. They are as much an accomplice in this "outrage" as any true enemy of the GOP. The political system of today is fixed, paid for, signed, sealed, delivered, and you are given the "choice" of who they want you to vote for.
How? It's been explained over and over.....Trump successfully set himself as the "anti Washington" candidate. It does not matter what he says. He could stand up there and pick his nose and he is going to win.
The people are giving a big middle finger to the establishment.

Networks pay the RNC for the right to show the debates. The RNC stipulates everything, even who the moderators are. If anyone is pissed at CNBC, they need to talk to Reincey Boy.
1. They are online polls, which are incredibly unscientific. You can't use them seriously. Where there any formal poll results released? I mean he really could have won last night but those wouldn't be the polls to show it.
2. When you have the kid of debate where no one stands out you will get poll results that largely reflects the most popular candidate going in, since people always tend to say their favorite won unless a rival makes a really strong showing.
Exactly. Online polls simply show who was able to mobilize people to click. American Idol isn't how presidents get elected, even if Donald Trump thinks otherwise.
Most of these are perfectly reasonable questions. I agree that the comic book question and one or two others were ridiculous, but what is unfair about these?
Really? What about "Will you say anything to get elected?"
Now, can you please give me examples of ANY questions that actually discussed the economy - which the debate was supposed to be addressing?

What was "unfair" was the every one of them were accompanied by a snarky, rude dig meant to undermine the candidate.
What about that statement. ONE. To ONE candidate. Followed by a few hours of slobbering fawning and softball questions, with no snark to be seen.
Fiorina did too. She said she doesn't smile enough, and then she forced and awkward fake smile on her face.
She did, I missed that. She does seem a little less stern this debate.
