I'm not looking to make the most creative/inventive response. My responses are based on my experience/life experiences with others/my observatoins and I think that's honestly how more than a few parents have brought up some of their kids today.....that they can do no wrong, do everything wonderful, are entitled to whatever they want, etc. And this "you own me free college" mentality is just another piece of that type of upbringing. I was brought up to think one must earn their way in life.

Sorry I can't be more entertaining/"original" than that.
