NOPE - there were 6 well planned and coordinated attacks. Guns, bombs, grenades, suicide bombers.

Can Newt shoot a grenade out of the air before the pin is removed? I don't think so. All the bravado of "if I had a gun, I would have stopped those ISIS bad men, I'd be a hero". The grenade came out, the pin was pulled, people blew up. The car drove by, the kalishanov automatic rifles were sticking out of the car windows, and some on the patio and in the restaurant were killed. Neither of these actual situations had room for a man in the room with a gun. They were blitz attacks - no warning, no time to get the gun.
