Yep.

And every 4 -8 years the country gets collective amnesia and concludes, this time will be different.

Split them up.....half in a safe house in Chicago, right around the corner from his mansion.

The rest can be put in Louis Farrakan's custody.

Obama to shut Guantanamo before he leaves office, says White House chief of staff | Fox News
Obama creates his own facts to build a fantasy world fortified by theoretical numbers. O has crossed the line and has become your aged uncle who screams invectives at the tv news. He is off his rocker and makes assumptions that defy logic.

To say "Obama vows", generates profound doubt. Is he still looking for an azz to kick from the gulf oil spill? His pen is all out of red ink and he left his thesaurus at home.

Gitmo is a recruiting tool, so are the ceremonies where he hands out medals to heroic servicemen for killing terrorists. Michelle like the move American Sniper..if that doesn't inflame the terrorists, nothing will. Every televised drone strike has to be a terrorist recruiting tool.

Then O suddenly wants to save us money after thinking in retrospect that the loss of 500 mill$ taxpayer dollars was a good investment in Solyndra. How about that 50 mill$ to train 4 Iraqis?

They put them all on a plane back to the ME like they did with other prisoners they released from Gitmo.

What is so hard about that ?

Muktar Yahya Najee al Warafi is just one example of why this might be treated carefully.

"There’s no one there who is not a hardened terrorist.” Sen. Tom Cotton (R-Ark.)

I could never figure out why liberals get their panties in a wad over closing gitmo. In all reality we need a POW camp away from the constitution, so what, they die they die.

Of course it isn't American soil. That was the entire point. Prisoners on US soil are indisputably under US jurisdiction and as such have rights, so Cheney & Co. engaged in a bit of rules-lawyering.

The land has been rented for a Navy base decades before Castro came to power - back when it was essential to have coaling stations to support the fleet.
