Please stop using dead kids as talking points to feed your particular persecution complex. Nobody is taking your gun away.

GMO's?

Diebold?

Generally speaking, conspiracies flare up around whomever the president is. When Bush was in the whitehouse they were more directed at him. With Obama....he became the focal point of the nutjobs. The people tend to flare up their crazy in response to their hatred of the other party.
GMO's what? People have a legitimate concern about GMO's. That's a conspiracy?
Hey Ringo, guess who else on the thread thinks GMO concerns are conspiracy theory:

Here's what Bill Nye the Science Guy thinks of your tin-foil neuroses:

"...went to Monsanto and I spent a lot of time with the scientists there." As a result, he added with a grin, "I have revised my outlook, and am very excited about telling the world. When you're in love, you want to tell the world!"

Every progressive leftist's favorite astrophysicist, Neil deGrasse Tyson, confuses it with cross-breeding:
_"...To GMO Critics: 'Chill Out'"_
"We have systematically genetically modified all the foods, the vegetables and animals, that we have eaten ever since we cultivated them. It's called 'artificial selection.' That's how we genetically modify them. So now that we can do it in a lab, all of a sudden you're going to complain?"

Dude (I kinda love having someone have that as their user name), the issue is that there is no way in heck that this did not occur. You can argue conspiracy theories, but they should be somewhat rational. This one is not. This isn't "the MSM media" telling us this, this is the parents of the children telling us this, its the entire freaking town. This is insane.

For example-you could argue that the killer was being controlled by the government. Sure thats a reasonable conspiracy theory. But thats not the argument, instead its a outright piece of insanity. that has no basis in reality. And they're quite literally making the lives of parents of dead children worse. Its shameful. Its also a pretty bad reflection of their critical thought processes.

I have no respect for the people that fall for this sort of nonsense. And for those who perpetrate it? I have contempt.

I'm confused. Are you for or against GMO's?

I don't spend much time thinking about it but my super-healthy trainer and friends seem to spend a great deal of time thinking about it.

Diebold - never heard of it.

Bush blowing up the levees? Never heard of it. But then I wasn't on CD either.
It was 15 years ago so my guess is you are under 30....so you've had most of your adult life under President Obama and haven't gotten to see the crazies target a republican president yet.

Seriously, I'm hoping this is the case because if you are over 30 and have never heard about those things....ouch. Just google "Bush blew up levees", heck there were prominent politicians, celebrities and others spewing that crap.

P.S. Yes, people have concerns, they're just utterly devoid of science or fact. Hey, if you don't like it....National Geographic had a nice issue called "The War on Science" that covered moon landing denial etc. including GMO stuff.

I have no opinion on GMO's and never said I did. Ever. It's simply not something I spend much time thinking about.

I DO think Sandy Hook happened and that is the title of the thread.
