Rights can be modified. They are called ammendments. If we continue to take this Gibraltar stance, you are only playing into their hands. Do you really read the suggestions. It's hardly a speed bump.
Still a speed bump and you don't register a right. It will never be amended.
Understood, however, many do not. Case in point, Georgia. That is precisely why SC doesn't recognize the CCW from Georgia and vise versa (pi$$ing match). Not trying to get into one off's. in GENERAL, it's a pretty easy hurdle to cross but, necessary.
The reason we have a 10th amendment is for states authority. But because there is a 2nd amendment directing who is in control of the arms, the 10th amendment cannot apply in any way to the 2nd amendment, which is the right of the people to make, supply, carry and use arms, to remain a free society.
Where in the US Constitution, do we give the federal government by name, the authority to keep and bear arms. Even though government is made up of people, they are not the people. They are the government.
Who's registering anything? Did you comprehend the sentence. It was a TEST. NOT a registration. Big difference. It's not that I care WHAT they are buying I just want to make sure they know how to OPERATE what they are buying so they don't hurt the innocent.
That's all. It's designed to protect the innocent, NOT to thwart the would-be-legal gun owner. Much like I said early on that diatribe, try not to jump to conclusions as you put down the JC Whitney catalog while sitting in the outhouse.
I propose a reading test prior to voting. Anyone who can't comprehend the issues on the ballot doesn't deserve to vote. I hope this isn't too hard for you to comprehend.

Be careful with that stuff. You can't argue for one and not the other, whatever the other may be.
The government doesn't go into my brain and remove the ability for me to say harmful things. I just don't say them. Should be the exact same with the 2nd Amendment. I want a min-gun. I can't pay the $3,000 per minute in ammo cost but I should be able to pick one up at my local gun store without anyone questioning me.
Good stay in Mississippi
