America is definitely dependent on foreign oil, though not as much as some allies in Europe. American defense of Mideast oil thus gives it leverage over Europe.

Time to leave? Yes, absolutely. Is it possible? lol

So yes, more people will get killed.

Yes you are right. I went and searched for this.

These were special ops teams sent to Afghanistan to fight the Taliban in mid December.

Any time now, any time. Real soon.

End the war in Afghanistan in 2014
Obama delays U.S. withdrawal from Afghanistan, again

By Linda Qiu on Thursday, October 15th, 2015 at 5:16 p.m.

American troops will continue to remain in Afghanistan through the end of Barack Obama's presidency, prolonging a 14-year conflict that Obama pledged to wrap up by 2014.

Obama announced on Oct. 15 a new White House plan that lays out a "modest but meaningful extension of our presence" in the country, the second time the administration has stalled withdrawal this year alone.

Time to get the heck out of that hell-hole!
Are these part of the 50 Obama advertised to the enemy that we were sending in? If so I do not have good things in my vocabulary for what I would like to see done with this president. Complete failure and embarrasses us all to other nations.
Hit the road Barry.

Default Time to leave

The to leave was 10 years go.

They'd had their elections and the Taliban were restricted to the boonies.

It is for each nation to decide how much they want to invest in it.
