Millions of dollars spent and after 3 years had less than 20,000 viewers at prime time. They were ranked # 99 on most watched channels.

I am surprised finances mattered to them. Government outlets last forever even if they lose money every day.

No real loss for me. My cable system actually included Al-Jazeera, plus One America News. The latter got watched by me much more than the former. We can now see what information viewers crave.

What will now be interesting is what will occupy Al-Jazeera's former spot on my cable. I actually wouldn't mind another sports channel.....
