As we know, the US has been busy rebuilding Afghanistan after invading it. Appears the Pentagon managed to spend $ 43 million on a gas station that should have cost $500,000. Pentagon has no explanation.

'Colossal waste': DOD slammed for $43M, US-funded gas station in Afghanistan | Fox News

This sort of crap has been going on for serious decades.

They have never accounted for expenditures despite that it was necessary for Congress to pass a law requiring them to do so. This is not partisan.

This story was discussed long/months ago.. Correct, this is not a partisan issue. I doubt anyone will ever be held accountable other than the taxpayers.

The waste and spending may not be partisan but there's one party with that idea as a seemingly permanent plank in its platform.
