In central Syria one of the 2 pockets created north and west of Palmyra was bulldozed and the reduction of the second western most pocket has begun. Russian airpower is present in all fighting.

People in the know are SPECULATING it may beover for ISIS by October.
One thing I'd like to know; who is funding this "heavy fighting" and ISIS? These countries are supposedly destitute.

The SAA and friends are reported to be within 10km of Deir Ez Zor advancing along the 2 main routes into the city. the pocket to the west of Palmyra is being shot to pieces but there's heavy fighting.
There were similar reports in Raqqa, Mosul, and Tikrit where they spirited IS commanders out. They're foreign intelligence officers or high-value mercenary commanders. Just search for "syrian observatory for human rights airlift deir ez-ezzor".

Chris, those reports are true.
But good news is - Russia keeps eliminating ISIS very successful and their days are numbered. In 2-3 months we can say with confidence that ISIS doesn't exist any more.

I searched and found two articles; One from Fort-Russ, the other Alalam news (State-owned Iranian media). Both reference the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (That outfit previously dismissed as "some guy in the UK who has never stepped foot in Syria"). Since neither publication provided links to the report in reference I located it myself and realized why neither publication provided links to the report. Apparently they expect you to trust, not verify.

According to SOHR, their sources claim that during operations against ISIS helicopters of the international coalition extricated what the sources claim are members of ISIS. Those same sources speculate on three possibilities as to why members of ISIS were taken by the coalition; As prisoners, as infiltrators, and as those who wished to escape the group. Those sources also report that houses being used by ISIS as arms warehouses as well as a vehicle packed with ISIS members were attacked by those same international coalition helicopters resulting in the death of 25 ISIS members. You should have expected that they would mislead you.

Their days are definitely numbered.....

Maybe the globalists can call George Soros so he can fly-in Antifa to back up what's left of US-backed rebel/ISIS alliance.....

They're extricating commanders and leaving the rest of the IS unit to be slaughtered. The commanders are foreign intelligence officers. The rest are foreign fighters and locals who joined IS for the pay or were coerced to continue fighting. This has been reported a number of times in the past.

They're obviously misleading you when they claim only some are suitable to be removed as prisoners while leaving the rest there.

No evidence whatsoever.

Who's making that claim?

The biggest question is if the war in Afghanistan can even be won as it is being fought now. The Afghans are going to continue to shout no back at us no matter how many times we say "you will" . That's a fact.

I personally don't believe the war is meant to be won. I think it's Orwellian in nature. It is meant to go on in perpetuity.

Maybe sooner. Deir Ez Zor is about to fall. ISIL, ISIS had major logistics there everything from tank repair shops to huge ammo storage depots. It's their last home and the SAA is in the city. There's some fighting but in mere hours the city will be in Syrian hands. They still do have a lot of fight left in them but its all but over now. The hold outs will never go away.

Reports of the US setting up an oil extraction scheme in PKK occupied territory. This is north of the Euphrates along the Raqqa/ Deir Ez Zor line. This is Syrian territory and it is against international law.

Who cares? The US is above of international law.
