I don't understand how suing an inanimate object makes any sense.

Should all families of people murdered by the US Gov't be allowed to sue gun, tank, plane and bomb manufacturers?
Like suing Ford because a drunk driver killed someone.

It's liberals trying to dictate their belief system on others.

What makes you think that all we can own s what we "Need?" This is America. You can own things you want to have, and you don't have to just "need" them. How much crap have you got at home that you don't need? Bet your house is full of useless crap.

All you attempting o do here is get people riled up and answering you, since its obvious you know as much about guns as a Monkey knows about brain surgery.

I like keeping guns on hand because I think that anti-gun Nuts will go off the deep end one day and become like these mass shooters and try to take the Law they want in their own hands. The Constitution said we have a duty to protect it from enemies foreign and "Domestic" and we all know where anti-gun folk fit in, don't we. We just want to be ready....

Now we even have to contend with Greedy Parents of killed kids that want to extort money from Gun Makers, who had nothing to do with this act. Its disgusting that they want to cash in on their losses. Sad...

I know, but its always nice to dream of a possibility..........

One would have to admit that they are unstable, and harbor a lot of aggressive feelings. You also have to consider their unhealthy obsession with firearms. They are more obsessed than the folks who collect them, and in a lot more unhealthy way. These folks could be dangerous in time.

The Protect All Gun Companies act back in 2005 shielded manufacturers except for cases Negligent Entrustment where someone knowingly puts a gun into the wrong hands, interesting. The case was actually filed in Jan 2015 and has been delayed by Remington as they attempted to get this into federal court.
Which are completely legal to manufacture, market, and sell in the United States. Don't like that? Get the laws changed, don't blame a business for conducting perfectly legal activity.

Guns are the most regulated consumer product on the market with over 20,000 laws nationwide governing the manufacture, sale, and use of firearms. Laugh all you want.

Ah man, you had such sound logic and then you had to go and lose all credibility with that last bit of Alex Jones-ian nonsense....

The negligent entrustment exception is the basis of the lawsuit, and if the judge rules it reaches the stage of discovery, that will be a crushing blow to the industry, just as tobacco went through when the discovery process in suits showed they were targeting underage kids in advertising.
