In fact, that is pretty much the sole purpose of this entire forum.

Lol, the left-wingers should just suck it up, then, because I can assure you that there are plenty of them calling right-wingers opportunists, hysterical alarmists, stupid, and hypocrites on posts here.

After winning the award, he felt it important to tell a room of rich liberals that global warming is real and we need to elect a president who agrees that using violence to promote a horrendous agenda is important.

“Climate change is real,” he said. “It is happening right now. It is the most urgent threat affecting our species. We need to work together and stop procrastinating.”

Hypocracy is a new category which will be available for the next oscar award show.
BLM, Decaprio et al will be nominated. Nobody cares. Its the little kids table and they are playing make believe. How cute!

For context, think back to the early 1400's, in any western civilization center, say England. What do you think would happen if someone got up in the public square and started speaking of the benefits of the Hindu religion? Especially if that person was in the public eye like (unfortunately) actors are today? I'm sure it would end in a horrible, painful death. Now, that same person pledging his life to Christ, and thanking the grace of God for all that he has? Well, he'd be heralded, and rewarded.

Same thing here. The eco-religion is unfortunately, and falsely, cemented into American politics and policy. What's going to get Di-craprio more roles, telling the truth, or standing in support of the popular myth of AGW? Hollywood is filled with those who live in pretend worlds, who's job it is to suspend reality for their customers, and make it seem real. Why wouldn't we expect them to eat up the eco-religion hook, line, and sinker?

Need more proof that the eco-religion is actually a religion? Look back in history and see how those who publicly opposed the common religious views of the day were treated: shamed, called "deniers", liars, had reams of "scientific" documents refuting their views thrown at them, and even tortured and killed. The exact same thing happens when anyone with half a brain cell bothers to tell the truth about the biggest hoax on human kind in modern times: the eco religion. Well, it's not legal to kill someone for not practicing this fake religion yet, but give it time!

It's not about actually doing anything substantial, it's all about feeling good about yourself, thinking you are doing something important with your life. It's not just that they feel good about themselves, they feel they are better people than anyone who does not by into the CAGW hoax.

Really now, what could make you feel more important than the belief that you are helping to save the planet?

These actors live empty, meaningless lives, and they know it. Let's be real, all they do for a living is convincingly pretend to be imaginary people. So they have to find some seemingly noble cause to rally behind, to make them appear to be a person whose life is worth a crap, when usually it's just more pretending on their part.

Let's put it this way: these people are probably doing way more than you people on a daily basis yet here you sit, pounding on the keyboard crying "hypocrisy!!!!" when you don't do a damn thing except whine & claim everything is false. Boy, you sure showed them, didn't ya?

Most people cannot 100% do what it takes to help the environment however, you do what you can & if everyone would make an effort to do what they could, that would be a giant step forward. But no, there still have to be those deniers, those people who claims it's just so difficult to recycle, or not water their lawn 24/7, or to walk, bike or take public transit, yada yada yada.

Why should I take the opinions of any celebrity seriously, when they don't live in the real world? Leo owns 6 mansions. He has a private jet. He rents a yacht that uses as much fuel in an hour as I do in a year.

And he's given a platform he uses to tell the rest of us that WE'RE the ones who need to change. Its revolting how these rich Hollywood Liberals see themselves as exempt from the rules they expect us little people to live by, and how we give them a platform to preach their ignorant political views as if their opinions that exist in a vacuum are any more important than anyone else's.

Just another facet of organized religion. The high priests and elite tell you what to do, and how to live, yet those rules do not apply to them. This has been going on for centuries. They lie, construct "scientific" evidence to support their scams, and hold onto the luxury of power and privilege. Only a fool would think that man can control nature...but those are the types who follow the eco-religion and enable the high priests and elite of that society.

We've spent hundreds of millions of dollars taking crosses off of walls, and nativity scenes out of parks. It'll take billions of dollars to remove the eco-religion from the government, and it's a far bigger threat than Christianity ever was to this country.

You have no idea what anyone on this board does. Maybe you should stop exposing your ignorance.

Again, you have no idea what others on this board do. But I suspect that all of us conserve more of our OWN electricity and water than any of the idiots in Hollywood.

This hypocrisy is just like liberals thinking that if they give somebody "other people's money" they are benevolent. They are not. So the AGW hypocrites think they are helping the planet by telling OTHER people how to conserve. They are not.

Get back to me when these liberal AGW hypocrites begin using less water and electricity than the rest of us. Meanwhile, their "do as I say, not as I do" shallowness is obvious.

I'm telling you, these people feel guilty for being so insanely wealthy, and doing absolutely nothing and play acting. Leo is trying to absolve himself of his sins, to justify his embarrassing expenditures on his material excesses in life.

Some of these guilty pop stars adopt kids from poor nations, others sing sad songs to protect the animals, some can assuage their guilt by simply driving an expensive electric car and join the club of other empty Hollywood elites who pretend they are saving the planet.
