And no one made a distinction between the ACA and universal healthcare or the obvious delivery issues inherent to it?

Amusing.

As far as I can see the "conservative principals" are incompatible with an open, tolerant, educated, civilized, peaceful secular society where relative economic standing is dependent on a person's ability and not their parent's wealth, religious affiliation, race or political connections.

Conservative values of subservience of the masses to a wealthy elite is in opposition to creating a great place to live for everyone. Conservative values want to create a society of elite aristocratic families supported by a mass of disenfranchise serfs that defer to their "Betters" as mandated by their warped form of Christianity.

Conservative values are nirvana for the elites and hell for the rest of us. No thank you.

There are reasons I am a secular Liberal. These are just a few of them.

And in my state, you do *not* want to be caught driving without it.
"OR intend to drive it on the street."

What part of that DON'T you understand?

MANY people OWN and DRIVE cars on THEIR OWN PRIVATE PROPERTY.

MANY people have collector cars and NEVER drive them.

MANY people by old cars and fix them up, either customize them or restore them to original condition.

THEY are NOT required to have auto insurance.

I REPEAT ,"OR intend to drive it on the street."

Blanket statements do NOT cover EVERY situation.

Just BECAUSE you OWN a car does NOT require you to have auto insurance.

Prove me wrong. Looking around at this forum, and views advocated by right wing media, it's pretty obvious that I'm correct.

And many liberals think they live in a world powered by rainbow unicorn poop and magical wishes. Money doesn't grow on trees where I live.

There are reasons I am a secular Liberal. These are just a few of them.

The largest cities in the USA are the home to the billionaire class. They are generally run by liberals and by metrics have the largest income inequality. High taxes, high regulation, high housing costs, and more violence. In short - the liberal elite surrounded by a willing supply of exploited labor.

Meanwhile in rural America or other conservative areas, Americans go about their daily routine, clinging to their guns, not worried about what you choose to do in the big city, just worried you want to force your ideology and subservience onto them.

Conservatism is about liberty and self-reliance. Liberalism is about control and more government.

The irony to the first sentence in your post is that liberals are the party of big money.

In my state, you cannot register your car without proof of insurance.

I don't doubt that there are people who drive without being currently registered.

I don't doubt that there are people who collect cars and don't register them because they're not driving off private property.

Doesn't change the fact that the overwhelming majority of people who buy cars intend to use them, and if they intend to use them legally, they are required to buy auto insurance.

Oh wow, such an intelligent comment. You're really kind of making my point.
