I know exactly what you said, your statement was about Muslims, not pedophiles. As you said, we already have plenty of those living in this country.

The argument is that this is no different than what was happening in that town before the migrants moved in. The only difference is that the perpetrators now have darker skin and foreign sounding names. To even notice that these things are happening is to be intolerant and bigoted.
I don't want to protect anyone who hurts others. However unless ALL Muslims or Christians or Hindu's or Buddhists commit the same exact crimes, it's not a religion problem. Since millions of Muslims don't commit crimes, this isn't a Muslim problem. Just like soliciting gay sex from prostitutes isn't a Christian problem.
If a religion teaches that its followers should commit crimes, is that not a problem?

no "belief" physically harms anyone, it is the actions of those who believe it. And while it is true that Muslims follow their religious text more than Christians do, it doesnt change that their are many cross overs between the 2 and many who are Christian who still practice it, especially in Africa and Asia.
Would you rather be raped or have someone believe you are going to hell? A simple question. A yes or no will suffice.

And I've met several people raised in other parts of the country who heard the exact same BS in their Sunday School classes. Thinking religions' attempts at controlling people with inane, insane demands is limited to only one religion is pure fantasy, nothing else.
