Nate Silver did not say that Trump had no shot. He gave him between 20-30% in the weeks leading up to the election. I'd say he was pretty accurate in his predictions, all things (including the foolish letter from Sanctimonious James Comey) considered.

Yep, he was catching a lot of crap from everybody on why he didn't show Hillary at 95% chance of winning. I specifically remember him pointing out that hey everybody this election is close and it is within a statistical margin of error. The national polling was pretty accurate, they simply did not pick up the underlying trend on the swing states...Man did they not pick up the trends in the swing states. I never really pay attention to a single poll, I usually pay attention to the polling aggregates and track Real Clear Politics and Nate's 538. Nate's is by far the best given he makes adjustments on polls that either have a history of leaning left or right.

Is this for real?

The biggest political bully in the history of the United States is Donald Trump.

How can anyone support this disgusting demagogue?

Silver not having a clue about the Swing States says it all.
The Swing States say it all in an election.
A dying dog in the gutter could do better than Silver in pointing to who would win each Swing State....

Fail.

In September, he told CNN’s Anderson Cooper that Trump had a roughly 5-percent chance of beating his GOP rivals. In November, he explained that Trump’s national following was about as negligible as the share of Americans who believe the Apollo moon landing was faked. On Twitter, he compared Trump to the band Nickelback, which he described as being “[d]isliked by most, super popular with a few.†In a post titled “Why Donald Trump Isn’t A Real Candidate, In One Chart,†Silver’s colleague Harry Enten wrote that Trump had a better chance of “playing in the NBA Finals†than winning the Republican nomination.
Nate Silver said Donald Trump had no shot. Where did he go wrong?

trump approval ratings are steady at 43.5%. President Obama's approval ratings during his second year were 46.9%.

Not really fair for Obama since trump hasn't completed his second year yet but I'd wager trump's numbers go down as his legal troubles mount.

It would be right to say that polls are always wrong but that is you're right to say it, even if you're wrong.

LOL, Donald Trump never turned the IRS into his personal Mafia like Obama did to put down his enemies. How's that for bullying?

And the DOJ, EPA, NASA, NOAA, and several other agencies he politicized, and weaponized. Loretta Lynch wanted to prosecute people for speaking negatively about Muslims.
