Hate freedom of speech do you?

I linked the Gallup poll because linking Rasmussen would not be taken seriously by the left. But I know the left seems to trust Gallup so that was the reason. At least they did when his numbers were horrible. With Trump's numbers up the left seems less interested in polls.

Rasmussen has him closer to 50%. Whether the numbers are valid and accurate with Gallup is debatable but the trend has been up for several months. Most Trump approval polls except for one run by CNN show this.

I am not a Trumper. He has done endless things that I do not agree with and some that I do. I just find this whole thing interesting. Last fall it seemed pretty easy to see where the Trump presidency was headed. But now it's hard to say. It's hard to defeat incumbents. If his numbers are close to 50% and not impeached he has a good shot at reelection. Plus the left keeps hammering the idea that the POTUS needs to be experienced. Trump will be POTUS for over 3 years in 2020. That is more presidental experience than anyone who will oppose him from either party. Unless 98 year old Jimmy Carter wants to run against him.

I am voting Libertarian regardless.

I think he is -5 on that. 5% don't have an opinion. Obama was about -2 at this point. Similar.

Just to be clear, Jackwinkelman is one of the least "sided" posters on this forum.

Lol. And yet, his popularity has gone down in many states that he carried. Sometimes, you need to look at the big picture.

Sure are grabbing at those straws.

"...Trump’s net approval has declined in all 50 states since he took office...."

We reached peak TDS last summer/fall. The bubble is slowly but surely deflating.

I looked back at where Obama was in June 2010 (same point in his presdiency) and it ranged from 45% - 47%.

Seems like the summit has been favorable for him. Amazing what a big jump over the past few months.
Funny at the worst economic times Obama had similar numbers as Trump in one of the best economic times.

Very interesting.

Very interesting.

Obama was not blamed for the economic problems back in 2010. Bush was. His low numbers had more to do with Obamacare.

And lots of people do not give Trump any credit for the good times now. Trumpers do. But that is it.

That would actually be kind of easy.
Trump took office with a 44.3% approval, then rose to 46%. Now it's 43.7%

Course it's sooooo much more dramatic to say it the other way.
