Trump will never have the popularity that President Obama had and continues to enjoy.

Never!

Very interesting.
Funny that even with massive, overwhelming media bias in his favor Obama had similar numbers as Trump with massive, overwhelming media bias against him.

Let's see what happens after this week and the ripping babies from parents issue -- there will be a slide again.

Why don't you just come out and admit it. You'd be much, much happier if his approval was at 30 percent regardless of the poll. Then at least you'd have some credibility.

We see the opposite thing happening. Most people liked Obama but didn't like his policies so democrats did horribly in midterm elections.

Now we have Trump who most people don't personally like, but they overall like his policies. We'll see what happens in November.

My thoughts exactly. Trump and his team are blatantly lying about the issue. Obama didn't create the issue at all. Obama would send unaccompanied minors to detention centers and NOT remove them from their parents for months on end like Trump policy and Trump policy alone is doing. There is no law causing this, it is pure executive order and enforcement.

Voters were also rejecting Pelosi. Ryan is milquetoast and the Republican Congress doesn't stir passions.

It can of healthcare is on the table, it will cause votes against Republicans. People mostly want ObamaCare if not fully universal healthcare in America.
