Polls are B.S.

These are the same polesters who alleged Trump had zero chance of winning the election in 2016.
But the mainstream media and their continually decreasing audience base are deluding theirselves.

Trump's numbers are continuing the short term downward trend. Trump has been Coulterized.

According to 538 aggregation he is at 55.6% disapproval and he has dipped below 40% approval.

Trump's recent actions are not having a positive affect on his popular image, but at least he doesn't have Ann Coulter continuing to threaten to castrate him ... for the time being, so that's a plus.

the 2016 polls were actually within the margin of error compared to the popular vote.

Thanks for the masterful insight ...

Trump believes in polls. He lives by them. Even television ratings, which Trump crows about often enough when he wants to take a dig at someone, are basically a poll.

Trump is the first to point out when the numbers look good, or even if one small segment of a poll supports him. He watches the polls diligently.

A great deal of the political consultant billings go toward polls (it was a specialty of Kellyanne Conway), most of which are designed for campaign planning. The Trump campaign thought it important enough to share their polling data with a Russian agent.

You may choose to discount them, but serious politicians never do.

it is much worse than that.

That 56% percent who are firmly NOT voting for Trump. Firm "NO" rarely changes and it also leads to down ticket loses. This is setting up to be a disaster for Republicans.

I kind of feel bad for some of the local guys, they are moderate and do not deserve to be thrown out just because of Trump and Trumpism.
One local R is a great guy who does a lot to restrain spending, he was looking like he might run for US congress, but now he has shelved his plans and is looking at just retiring from politics altogether. This is what Trump's extremism is doing.
It is not only bad for Republicans it is bad for everyone...

Just went up again today - now a 16% spread on the polls of polls (538).....

Of course, he's already the worst in history for the longest time by far. Soon it will be two years plus where he hasn't, for one day, had a higher approval than disapproval.

Feb 2 to be exact. That marks two years of negative spread. But we are now at a new high for over a year.

Drip Drip Drip as the few of the reasonable Trump followers left, those who are not "invested" but actually thought he was sane, drop off.

I doubt the bleeding can stop because at this point very few people believe a word that comes out of his mouth. It used to be that one speech or statement from a POTUS could move the needle quite far - but Trumps Bigly Words don't touch it.

Ah, so you start a thread pointing to polls and cheering...but THEN you claim they are BS???

That's fantastic. Are you just here looking for attention or did you actually want to discuss approval rating POLLS?
