WORKS FOR ME!
Funny how nobody is feeling the pain from this partial shutdown except the employees who are not critical to running the government.

That's over 200B a year to pay their salaries vs. 5B

SO SAD!

HMMMMM
You don't think the Secret Service is critical?

Here’s an interesting tweet from John Harwood.

Quote:
per Gallup, Trump is the only POTUS in history of polling never to reach 50% approval in first 2 years

also the only POTUS whose average approval for first 2 years (39%) was below 40%

averages for predecessors: Obama 52%, GWB 70%, Clinton 48%, GHWB 70%, Reagan 50%, Carter 54%

Trump TOOK the BLAME for the shutdown and said he would NOT blame the Democrats for it (then of course he did). He took that blame on LIVE TV. What part of that do you NOT understand?

Yes on live tv and they still want to believe he didn’t say it. It’s just unbelievable how hard they want to support him no matter how wrong and erratic he is.

Yes I do and I agree with him 100%, it's the dirty democrats who caused it because they selfishly refuse him to do good for the country. The dems would gladly destroy the country if it means they get their way.
They know that a Trump victory, as wonderful as it would be for the county and Natalie, would make him look good, so they will sacrifice the country to prevent his victory.
The would be a really great country if there were no dirty democrats...

Yes he was... The sign of a truly great man, doing what's best for America.
It would be open and operating today if the dirty, crooked democrats would get past their egos and play ball. They refuse to see America win if it means cooperating with MAGA Trump...

Sorry — whose fault is the shutdown?
Trump did NOT offer to compromise on the wall. He has repeatedly insisted he will NOT compromise.

He owns the shutdown.

How is spending billions of dollars on a pointless wall, doing what's best?

A wall won't stop illegal immigration.

A wall won't stop drug smuggling.

A wall won't stop terrorists.

We have barriers where they are most needed and effective. The billions that Trump wants to spend on a wall would be better spent on technology, training and increased manpower. Trump needs to be willing to negotiate. He owns the shut down.
