Ohhh I get it, cuz he hires Russian prostitutes to urinate on in the oval office, right?

Meanwhile, a man who slid his cigar into an intern's vagina and a man who actually did bring in hookers to the white house are the two democratic presidents with the highest approval ratings post-presidency

The left is such a caricature of themself

He did not add sanctions...Congress did by a veto-proof vote... and then the puppet does this...

Trump to Remove Sanctions Placed On Companies Owned By Russian Oligarch Oleg Deripaska

When taking a close look at Russian election interference, the name Oleg Deripaska repeatedly appears. Deripaska, a wealthy oligarch has been connected to Michael Flynn, Paul Manafort, Michael Cohen and even Lindsay Graham.

The oligarch made his fortune by founding an Aluminum company called Rusal, now the 2nd biggest in the world. This week, the Trump administration announced plans to remove the sanctions that had been placed on Rusal.

When you sleep with dogs, you get fleas.

You lost any claim to moral superiority when you nominated Donald Trump.

Cuz? lol

Clinton was not a traitor to the United States of America. Trump is also a lifelong thief and racketeer so do not pretend that his having sex with porn stars is the issue.

JC, you'll never get it. However, for the handful of persuadable people on here this is the situation:

1. Trump has never had a net positive approval rating in the two years he has been in the Oval Office.
2. Obama who is constantly attacked by the right did have a positive approval rating for more of his presidency than not.
3. George W. Bush had a positive approval rating for more of his presidency than he did not.
4. The old conservative saw that "you can't trust the polls" has gotten old. I remember all the Trump folks who claimed the polls were wrong and the GOP would win a "resounding victory" in the congressional elections. We all know how that went. The GOP lost 40 seats and control of the House in one bad evening.

Trump isn't a well liked president and if his supporters were honest they would admit that and try and go from there. A wise man would actually look at what he is doing to offend people and would try to fix it. No chance with Trump. He goes out of his way to offend people that he doesn't need to offend.

Today's ratings are really bad. Even Rasmussen (the president's favorite poll) has him with an anemic 43% approval rating. Gallup has him at 37% and CNN has him at 37% too. Reuters has him at 40% The average approval rating for all the polls is at 41% today. This is not the stuff that reelection is made of.

Trump's presidency is sinking slowly because he decided to shut the government down to get his pet project (the wall) through Congress. Congress isn't biting and its clear the public blames Trump much more than them for the shut down.

It isn't pretty. I wouldn't want to be in the GOP right now.

The FBI had some reason for investigating him.

I agree with this but this is intentional and part of Trump's strategy. And it works.

Trump may alienate and insult 60% of Americans but he knows his base and the same tactics that enrage 60% of Americans are music to the ears of the 40% who support him. That's why Trump's 40% are soooo loyal and enthusiastic even while the rest of the country is completely fed up.

So bottom line is that if Trump can keep his base energized (and he has) and at the same time wear down Democratic enthusiasm, he will win again.

Well he won off the strength of razor-thin victories in the Rust Belt (PA, MI, WI) and as things stand now they won’t re-elect him. The problem is national politics have turned into a sporting event with the public backing their “team” no matter what. That mentality will need to change if we’re going to try to better predict elections in this country.
