Don't mess with the faux outrage. Anyone educated is a danger to conservatives. Critical thought is not their friend. It's much easier for corporations to really get the handouts if they can divide the ignorant with racism and classism. This pattern work, and it is the true reason our country has declined. TThe supposed party of the Constitution actually has a problem with free speech.
For instance, I'm sure I have been pegged as a person living the high life on the government dole by this point in my post. In reality, I am a 41 year old, college educated, white male paying in one of the top tax brackets because I make over six figures a year. I pay more of a percentage of my income than any of their Trump idols, but it doesn't fit the narrative.
There is nothing wrong with exploration of free thought. If this is the opinion of this student, learn from it. Obviously, something has shaped his view. Perhaps, we, as a society, might be able to do better. Of course, it's just easier to get angry and post endlessly about one man's perception of the world. The takeaway should be not everyone thinks like you, acts like you, or has had your experiences. This is exactly what higher education is about. While I may not agree with his view, I can't just dismiss what might be his influence for this feeling. We all live on this planet, and our survival and harmony depends on us being free to communicate our perspectives. It's just easier to put your fingers in your ear and shout. It's also childish, but not everyone that is physically an adult has developed an adult pattern of critical thought.
and your narrative is that Trump supporters make less than you
I don't think any responsible forum needs to have people talking about killing themselves or each other off, as it could be a slippery slope for the most vulnerable or disenfranchised.
How do you not see that as an intelligent human being? There is a difference between a history discussion, race discussion, and killing people/suicide discussion. INCITING is never a good thing, as evidenced by this (posted previously in this thread) http://imgur.com/rEq1Ghl
you also miss the point on handouts, because they are ADMINISTERED BY THE GOVERNMENT. Corporations wouldn't get any handouts if the government didn't administer them, and it has nothing to do with the "ignorant" masses.

This just made me think...if whites are responsible for keeping blacks down, it would make sense that the best thing for them is for all white people in the U.S. to disappear, right? This would eliminate racism, privilege, etc...
Or is it that many blacks think they can't succeed without white people, and they're using racism and privilege to guilt resources out of them rather than try to create their own wealth?
Just to be clear, I am not excusing sick racist behavior.
I did comment that it is protected by the 1st Amendment.
Lots of protected speech is both sick and racist.
My complaint was how the OP totally misrepresented the incident.
Fake outrage? Somehow I imagine if it was a white student who said something along those lines even if it were 'taken out of content' during a debate they probably wouldn't get such an easy pass from black people as we're suppose to give blacks everytime they say or do something less than PC towards white people. But hey we're not EVER allowed to get angry at black people or even God forbid question them no matter what they do or say because some of our ancestors enslaved them many moons ago. So I guess that gives them a free pass to behave like less than civilized humans for all of eternity. >_>
Also here is some lovely tweets from one of those debaters in the video:
I've criticized the black community before and have been called a racist many times by the liberal regressives, so I understand where you are coming from.
That said, getting outraged over a heavily edited video with no context is fake outrage. Why? Because instead of trying to find out the context, you just make the assumption at face value, which again is an edited video taken out of context.
Back when I was a cop, one time we were having lunch in a portillos. One guy was looking through the department manual for incident codes. He stumbled on a code for incest. He showed the rest of us and none of us ever saw it before.
A week later we were all written up for talking about incest pornography in public. Someone had overheard us and filed a complaint.
Context is everything. Taking things out of context is the same as bearing false witness. Which is why I said this thread is a fake outrage thread.
so let me get this straight.... college kids, who in today's day and age demand "safe spaces" and want laws to abolish non inclusive or offensive speech, debate a topic that an entire race of people should kill themselves.
and your narrative is that Trump supporters make less than you

Free speech isn't always comfortable, but it obviously got attention. No, I don't want you or anyone deciding what I may discuss. In fact, the founders of our country felt the same. Don't claim to love America, but hate the very principles that created it.
My narrative has nothing to do with Trump supporters making less than me. Reading comprehension is another benefit of higher education. My narrative stated that the narrative of the conservatives is that liberal thought is a product of either someone receiving benefits or some disconnected elitist. It's not. There are many people who don't fit that mold. The same holds true for people of different races, sexualities, and religions. Not everyone fits in the box some have picked for them.
Again, I highly suggest you develop some comprehension skill. Handouts do come from the government, but I was referring to the actual reality. Corporations get far more than the poor or elderly welfare recipients conservatives abhor, but you won't hear conservative angst against corporations. Critical thought allows one to see we may need welfare reform, but it's not near the most extreme abuse of the system. Why? The party thrives on using racism and classism to divert your attention to "those people" while they take it all. Yes, I would consider that ignorant which translates to uninformed.
Thank you for proving my points about conservatives with your comprehension and critical thoughts.
They're from Georgia. Anyone having to live in that armpit of the country for an extended period of time is going to go nuts.
