I land in the green quadrant not far from the y axis. I think green is the most balanced. Strong on civil liberties and free markets with moderate government intervention. Government should provide welfare and protection. Defense is essential but hawkish intervention is troubling.

A lot of questions are impossible to answer as not everything is black and white, or agree and disagree.
For example, those capable but refuse to work should not receive public support. I think they should as long as they are not allowed to vote, commit crimes or reproduce.

I think no society should allow its citizens to go hungry. That's my caveat.
Not really. No society should accept intolerable amounts of inequality. Inequality causes political instability. Just look at the developing world. Do you want the US to become like Zimbabwe?
