I'm talking about white liberals that move into predominantly minority neighborhoods, which does tend to have the effect of causing real estate prices to go up. The government is not forcing anyone to move. It's just the natural progression of events. More demand means prices go up.

Sad. Way back in the day; a "liberal" CARED about those of us near or at the bottom income wise, not in 2016.

It's the federal government spending bubble fueling this ''wealth". Deflate the bubble and the cities will go feral.

I don't understand your comment. How did I demonstrate a lack of care?

Can you give me an example? I believe I know what eminent domain is. But not how it relates to your point.

Eminent Domain: Being Abused? - CBS News

Basically the government "buys" property from black people. They raise taxes and then force black people off of their property. Then what they do is sell it to them, so either people stay and get taxed off their property and get taxed out. Or they take whatever "payment" from the government. They then redevelop and set a market price for triple the government "payoff". The governments who do this are DOMINATED by Liberal leadership.

True-

Our nation's capital is a prime example. The area around the capitol in DC has been "gentrified" and people who have lived there for generations have been forced to move.

We used to own a house on 7th st that increased in price 10X. The neighborhood was a mix of black and white people and was a decent neighborhood. All the blacks are now gone- all of them. Something is just not quite right with that situation.
