Lol...when did cops become sacrosanct, as if they're some sort of angels?

Cops are some of the biggest a-holes in this society. And it ain't just a few bad apples either.

Really? Bc Obama, holder, and Aaron Ford added her to the fbi's most wanted list. I guess these three are also part of framing an innocent black woman.

That means that her trial was fair?

The late Hurricane Carter could've told folk a thing or two about getting a fair trial in Jersey, back then.....!

Right.

Fact is, the cops were at war with militant black groups....and they were eager participants. They'd lie and frame people in a minute to get a conviction.

Just like they still do.

Assata is likely innocent, truth be told. It's well documented what was going on in the early 1970s, there was a government sanctioned program via the FBI and CIA to destroy militant black nationalist/socialist groups in this country. Assata was taken to court on numerous false charges such as several robberies in which she was always acquitted. The only way to get her was to charge her with something as heavy as murder of a cop, knowing damn well she would not beat that charge and that the public would not back her because of how emotionally charged of an accusation it was.

Can't believe people really eat up everything they're fed. Bet you all think this country was built on freedom fighters and intellectuals and not genocide and slavery.

If anything, the BLM movement isn't radical enough and thinks appealing to Democrats will help their cause. In reality, they should be organizing the projects of inner cities, not appealing to millionaires who will only hijack their cause for their own gains.

That was because Shakur escaped prison and fled to Cuba.

But claiming Obama and Holder and Ford added her to the most wanted list is an outright lie.

Assata Shakur is on the FIB Top 10 list, but she was added in 2005, long before Obama was elected.

And was added only after Cuba had allowed her a permanent visa and she had lived there openly for decades. She fled to Cuba in 1984, and Castro was quite happy to use her to rub a knuckle in the Ronald Reagan's eye at the time.

The Justice Dept. tried to get her back off and on ever since through the few diplomatic channels that were open between the U.S. and Cuba.

When Bush became President, he and his administration decided to declare her a terrorist. Just to poke Castro in the eye, to make his dear old Dad happy.

Now that relations between the 2 nations are becoming normalized, Shakur may be turned over to the Justice Department sometime soon, if it's to Cuba's advantage in some way.

But she may be very hard to find for the Cubans, as she's been off the radar for a long time there, ever since some books she wrote were published. Shakur is very good at hiding.
