Depends on what you call the "Saudi government"--which of those 1500 or so princes of the family Saud you consider "the government" and when they are operating as such.

Good point, it's hard enough to figure out what part of our own government is actually working for this country anymore judging by its willingness to hide things like those 28 pages.

Default The Koch Brothers

They do however want to reverse every break that the New Deal gave us by founding and funding the Cato Institute. The Cato Institute opposes child labor laws. The Dickensian quote "Are there no prisons? Are there no work houses?" would take on new meaning.

Take a look at this link: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cato_I...omestic_issues

The Koch philosophy embodied in the Cato Institutes agenda is dreadful. Everything that makes life decent in the USA would be privatized or taken away. NASA might be privatized and lay off thousands. That should mean something to someone from a Houston suburb like you.

We are currently trying to topple Assad in Syria so that the Saudis and US oil can run an oil/gas pipeline through Syria into Europe. Meet the new boss, same as the old boss.

Why stop as the Koch Bros institutes/think tanks/endowments? There are thousands of them run by the left as well that helped create things such as the free trade deals that sent our jobs overseas, that help keep open borders which costs Americans jobs and drive down wages, that created unfair prison sentences, that work to disarm law abiding citizens, that helped bring us to our present state of health care, sky-high prescription drug prices, drag down our educational system, etc. I'm in favor of all these institutes/think tanks/endowments being fully taxed and transparent, but that would be a massive net loser for the left.

No, they'll just ignore anything about Obama and keep frothing at the mouth about Bush, ignoring reality is their speciality. Nothing gets the CD liberals going like a good "Bush is a traitor" thread, just look at the peaceful liberals saying he should be executed.

If the King kills or imprisons the son-in-law, who has the money and the power to pull a coup and kill you and half of your 40 royal brothers, then, you tell me, burdell… if you were the King, what would you do walking in this pair of shoes?
I have no idea what I'd do as King of such a screwball kingdom but, IF I was the POTUS and those 28 pages implicated the King and his cohorts in an act of war against the US the only kiss that King would be getting prancing thru the garden would be from a cruise missile.

Well, IF those 28 pages contain information implicating Saudi Arabia in the 9/11 attacks Bush IS a traitor for ignoring that and invading/occupying a nation that did nothing to us, just a bit more costly in blood and $$$ than Obama's inaction despite the lame attempts at shifting blame away from Bush.
