It was not only a failed Presidency but at least 7 years ago (2004 Election). Is it out of laziness, not wanting to "mess up their bumper" or some kind of defiance? Oddly enough, I have never encountered any that keep their "Mccain/Palin" stickers on their car, which was much more recent.

I think the McCain/Palin candidacy never really had much support, relatively speaking, to begin with, so there aren't many stickers for people to take off. The Bush/Cheyney stickers still make a relevant political statement. It seems kinda petty for you to be asking, in all honesty. Why does it matter to you, other than it's not where your own stance lies?

Not as petty as leaving a outdated sticker on your car for 8 years. I am a Lib but I just can't uunderstand why ppl could have those stickers of support in light of all of the hardship that the Bush years have wrought upon our country. Aren't they the slightest bit embarrassed by it all?

In a recent trip to southern Calif, I did see a whole lot more Obama 08 stickers, but of course that's a lot more recent. I certainly never saw a Kerry Edwards sticker. Is it part of the conservative psyche to "shove" it in your face?

Yes, Conservatives are evil people who can't let go of the past and have to shove it in your face. Whatever man, you clearly don't get what's called a difference of opinion. Just because you don't like a past administration doesn't mean that others have to take off bumper stickers stating their support.

In all honesty, I see hardly any Bush/Cheney stickers where I live. I have seen far more Kerry/Edwards and anti-Bush stickers.

They do it to bother people enough to vent about it on message boards like this 1.

I have no idea why anyone would put a bumper sticker on their car. I'll bet every time a politician see's it they snicker and think, You Sucker.

Explain me this: During the last presidential election in 2008, my neighbor dug up an old Kerry/Edwards sign (from 2004) and posted it prominently in his yard. What could be the possible motivation for this, other than to demonstrate extreme stupidity?

In New England, you can still see some Kerry-Edwards bumper stickers.

I don't even see how conservatives could be proud of still having those stickers on their vehicles.
