The latest story has the State department deleting information from the public record.

The current administration deletes from the record information that makes it look bad. These are the same people that are so quick to roll out the phrase " that is not who we are as a people", "that is not who we are as a country", "that is not what we stand for". That seems counter to their position. Would they admit that who we are as a people is so disgusting that we need to hide it or delete it to put forward an impression that isn't true or accurate. The only reason for doing it is to deceive the public so they don't question motives or mistakes for political reasons. We want reality to be different than it is so we need to change it and craft it to makes us look good politically.
The tragic effect of having Hillary in position as SoS is the taint of corrupting that is left behind that requires new rules to close gaps she exploited for her personal gain. She should have been doing things to improve the standards as head of the department not exploiting the weaknesses for personal reasons. Her concentration was on her own enrichment not the interest of the country.

How important is Transparency ? Do we want a government that operates in secrete to hide mistakes made by elected officials ?
Everyone can understand the need for secrets on issues of national security to protect people in sensitive positions in intelligence gathering operations. Diplomacy and other areas need secrets too. Why should trade agreements be negotiated in secrete ? Don't we have a right to know how we are going to be trading and how well we are being represented. Shouldn't we know and have a say on what the negotiators are trading away to our detriment or benefit ?

Sorry but what a silly poll. What is next? "Do you rather be dead or alive?"

Anyway save us the fake outrage. You are voting for more of the same, Trump and you justify the fact that he won't release his taxes. You are nothing more than a hypocrite, you want the rules to apply to other people but not to Trump. What else is new? More of the same, bipartisan politics where one party is the savior and the other one is the evil doer.

All whores (politicians) and their John's (lobbyist) are a well oiled machine. Designed to extract as much money from us as possible. This on our backs, and from our blood, sweat and tears.

If it's important to Trump, WHY is he talking of spending MORE! MORE! MORTE! on an already bloated military that's the only major federal agency to have NEVER been audited?

Is that good, transparent business practice?

I do try and make things silly so you are attracted to them and your comment on it is proof that it's a good strategy.

We already have someone in the yes column so silly is not out of the realm of possibility's.

Well at least you admit you have no substance. Thanks for being honest.

It should be interesting what Obama is telling the cadets at the Air force Academy today with recent reports that pilots are undertrained and over worked while maintenance crews are cannibalizing 20 y/o aircraft to keep planes in the air.

Your shiny button distraction is not interchangeable with my substance. Good try I even misspelled a word and expect more distraction from the topic by the word police. It's one of their favorite diversions. I do aim to please.

Trump won't release his taxes because (a) he pays no federal income tax and (b) he gives very little to charity and (c) he isn't worth as much as he claims.

He continues to scam the public at large - just like he did the students at Trump U and they fail to see it.

It's C. Trump can BS his way around a and b but he would never EVER admit he is not as wealthy as he claims he is. His personal income taxes will reveal a lot about his finances because if he would have to declare his dividends and salary in those.

Trump is probably declaring a bunch of losses and credits. Let's not forget he is getting audited for several years.
