That is highly unusual that the Dems feel they need to put up a wall. Where is the love? Who are they trying to keep out. I thought Trump was the enemy not their own supporters?
Maybe they are worried about the Bernie Bunch storming in a tearing the place up since their candidate has lost?

Why is it hypocritical to have security fences at a venue where the POTUS and his family, the VP and his family, and former presidents, as well as senators and congress members will be?
And what in the world makes you think there will be no fences at the RNC?

They don't want open borders, they just don't want to properly enforce the laws and provide amnesty?!?!
Maybe you should talk to more of them, and actually ask what they want instead of assuming it? A LOT of democrats that I know want people who have grown up here to have amnesty. A LOT of them also want the illegals who just come up here to work to be gone.
And yes-some want open borders, but they are few and far between.
I disagree with them on all of this, criminals are criminals, and shouldn't be here. No we're not breaking up families-their kids can go home with them. Their parents broke the law, they should be blaming them.
As for the cities that dont enforce immigration laws-they're often not representative of their citizens, but rather being driven by business interests. Good propaganda makes a big difference.

How about a wall around all government buildings in Washington DC ? Don't let anybody that's there now out, and cut off all lines of communication. Then let's not let anybody new in until after the old ones rot away behind the wall ! Then start this country all over again from scratch !!
