The possibility of committing mass murder is far more obtainable with an assault rifle then with any other gun on the civilian market. This is the logical reason why you can't buy hand grenades, shoulder fired missiles or belt fed automatic weapons. The capacity for mass death is too easy hence they are not available to you, assault rifles should be on this list.

Is this an assault rifle?

I know, I have learned this and have corrected several posters. Clearly an AR 15 and similar guns are not assault rifles. I was simply quoting the supplied article.

Then you should acknowledge Hillary has
misstated the issue for years.

Guess what? They're all the same rifle, just "dressed up" differently. The very first rifle I posted is a semi-automatic and shoots the same "deadly" round as the dreaded killing machine, the AR-15.

Should it be banned?

liberals including the socialist idiot hilary clinton has always misstated the facts when it comes to firearms.

only automatic firearms which are already highly regulated by the federal government with a class III tax stamp can ever achieve a 900 round per minute fire rate. there is also very few firearms in history that have ever shot 30 rounds per second, and most of those are in the hands of dealers that supplu weapons to movie companies.

what this tells people who know the facts, is the liberal politicians including city mayors, is that they do not know what the hell they are talking about. if cities are all so fired up about getting rid of firearms, then maybe they should start by firing all non-elected police officers and their departments. that would leave only sheriffs and their deputies as the only law enforcement in the USA.

also, when politician's talk about getting rid of firearms in the hands of civilians, then they should also be the 1st ones to step forward and get rid of all the protection offered by those that protect them with firearms. after all, if they do not want to look hypocritical, then they should forgo any personal protection.

OK she is wrong about assault rifles, as was I. Happy now? Can we get back to the issue I was addressing? We are discussing how liberals in general, and Hillary in particular, want a total gun ban. It's not true, it has never been true. This is her position and frankly I don't understand how it can be argued

CLINTON: I respect the Second Amendment. I respect the rights of lawful gun owners to own guns, to use their guns, but I also believe that most lawful gun owners whom I have spoken with for many years across our country also want to be sure that we keep those guns out of the wrong hands. And as president, I will work to try to bridge this divide, which I think has been polarizing and, frankly, doesn’t reflect the common sense of the American people. We will strike the right balance to protect the constitutional right but to give people the feeling & the reality that they will be protected from guns in the wrong hands.
