SCOTUS has ruled that women, specifically, do NOT have that 14th Amendment right to equal protection, thereby setting a horrendous legal precedent for the unequal and inferior treatment of women.
Take it up with Ruth Bader Ginsburg. She will be thrilled to have your unique constitutional insight.

Hey... 14th Amendment equal protection clause. Why should ambulatory surgery centers meeting men's surgical needs have to meet minimum state medical and facilities standards, while abortion centers performing surgical procedures on women don't have to?

The double standard in which women are treated as inferior 2nd class citizens is EXACTLY what begets the Gosnells and Brighams of the abortion industry. And make no mistake... those aren't nonprofits. They made money off of their abysmal and deplorable treatment of women. And SCOTUS just ruled that there's no need for abortionist profiteers like them to have to meet state surgery center standards.

Is there a way to contact her directly? I will if I can.

Your lack of concern for women is noted.

Too bad they can't back up their claims that Texas cited the 14th amendment in the case.
I know, right? It's far more entertaining to just sit back and watch the legal gymnastics they push trying to get their point across. It's obvious they (especially IC) have no understanding of the legalities behind the decision, let alone the 14th. It's funny how people with no background in law will come on here and defend an obviously flawed point of view so adamantly. IC is using one of the oldest psychological tricks known to man in order to get his point across; repeating something so many times in the hopes that people will just give in and believe it. The Nazis used similar techniques in the 30s.

Your lack of concern for women is also noted.

Who cares if women's health care is grossly substandard. As long as women can get abortions performed by profiteers with suspended medical licenses in unsanitary facilities with contaminated medical instruments, etc., it's all good? Right?

WTH is wrong with you people?

Gosnell. Brigham. Just two examples of what happens when abortion centers don't have to meet minimum state surgery center standards.

Now, please... explain to us all why SCOTUS has ruled that MEN get to retain their 14th Amendment equal protection right for their outpatient surgeries, but women DON'T.

So do dentists' offices. Know a lot of dentists (not oral surgeons) with admitting privileges?

It's true, except in the case of "back alley" abortions. I am a nurse anethetist. I have seen plenty of both.

They did have home abortions. That is the reason women have fought so hard to get them legalized.

How many dentists have to meet higher standards for their male patients than they do for their female patients?
