Is Collectivism around the world, taking a big hit in the gut?

The end goal of collectivism is individuals live as a cooperative, social species.
The only other option is we slowly become a solitary species and we all end up alone.
Just to clear up confusion here...
Collectivism isn't just working together. Individualists support that as well. The difference is that individualism is about respecting the rights of every individual, without exception...and collectivism is the belief that we can/should ignore the rights of some people if it serves the collective - the common good, society, the greatest good for the greatest number of people, etc.

True. However, I would argue that the "common good" is not served in anyway by destroying individual freedom (not that I believe that you do) However, many people believe that it is "okay" and "justified" to make others their personal slaves for the "common good" by using aggression. "Common good" is often horribly twisted to mean what is best for "most". Common good should mean what is best for ALL. If something is not universally good for all, it really is the "selective good" not the "common good". The fictional common good and the fictional collective are responsible for more human misery, deprivation, and mass murder than any other concepts in the history of man.
Voluntarynism is free will. If you choose to be individualistic in all that you do, fine. If you choose to form collectivist pacts, fine.
Any action is fine unless you violate the non-aggression principle.
Forced collectivism is not declining fast enough for me. We still have many folks addicted to mob rule (democracy) who believe it is a fair & just enterprise.

Ugh, "democracy"...the supposed justification for evil acts of aggression perpetrated by the some upon others...disgusting...
Democracy is the "justification" for a group of thugs to feel "good" about their crimes against their fellow man.
No person, group, or government has a right to initiate force upon any person, group, or government for any reason.
All initiations of force are evil. Always, and without exception.
Voluntarism is the only form of organization that can rightly be viewed as a true "society" or "civilization".
