Medicare and the VA has strong public support among its users. In the UK and Canada, their health care systems get 90% approval ratings. The US? The only country without a national health care system? Its a disaster.

I was guaranteed I could keep my current health plan.

Guess what happened?

But I should now trust that the next guarantee will be for real?

Along with any freedom...but it was nice to write a blank check backed by human slavery to the insurance agencies, drug manufacturers, and medical practitioners, because they have a right to extort as much money as they wish from the lowly humans that they wish to exploit...

Oh man, not this nonsense again. If you didn't know, the plan you couldn't keep was probably a waste of money plan that didn't actually cover anything to begin with.

The public option is not the same as single payer, since private HC concerns would continue as they'd like.

The public option is not like the VA, as the private sector would still deliver the bulk of HC. As Medicare.

The public option is certainly a move toward universal or single payer, unlike ACA.

The public option is something Hillary may reintroduce, also expanding Medicare to ages 50 or 55.

Your assessment of my previous plans is false.

Doesn't matter, anyway. BO said If you like your current plan, you can keep it. He didn't say Unless I decide it's a waste of money. He didn't say you can keep your current plan unless Cliftonpdx determines that it didn't cover anything.

He said IF YOU LIKE YOUR CURRENT PLAN, YOU CAN KEEP IT.

Now answer my question .... do you expect me to believe the next promise regarding this ACA?

Then there's this $2500 I was told I'd be saving ......

If your plan was so great, then I have no idea why you lost it because it should still exist.....unless you are omitting key information about your plan you had to prove your point, which is often times the case.

I personally don't care what you believe in, your beliefs are of no concern to me.

Maybe you like to post what your previous plan was and who it was through and why it was cancelled.

Is this promise coming from the same folks who promised everyone $2500 per year in savings?

The details of my family's previous plan, as well as the carrier are not relevant to this discussion.

IF YOU LIKE YOUR CURRENT HEALTH CARE PLAN, YOU CAN KEEP YOUR HEALTH CARE PLAN.

This was a lie.
