OK. So is the problem that you don't understand what the word "compromise" means? Bc I've already explained how the Left reaches compromises within their membership, and their willingness to compromise with the moderates on the Right...
No, it doesn't. Look at your own posts... condescending, confrontational... not very compromising at all.
So who am I referring to when I mention Center Right Republicans?
I really have no clue. Democrats have had the opportunity to compromise with Republicans for the last nearly 8 years and for the first two their mantra was, "Elections have consequences" while the remaining time, while in the minority, was spent accusing them of being obstructionists.
OK... I'll play... What would you consider the compromise between kicking out every undocumented person on this country, including the ones who brought over when they were babies -AND- not doing that?
when did I suggest kicking out EVERY undocumented person in this country?
What I actually said is that illegal immigration is a huge problem and sanctuary cities make it worse - by not enforcing our ALREADY EXISTING immigration laws. should we just pretend that we have no borders? why don't we just ask Mexico, Guatemala, Honduras, etc to start paying US taxes. We're educating 1/2 of Latin America anyway - and providing unlimited free healthcare via ER's. They might as well help pay for it.
Didn't we just get gay marriage? A rainbow lit White House to celebrate. Now leave the 2nd amendment alone.
yes we did, followed up with that skanky hypocrite Kim Davis with her 16 ex husbands preaching about God's law oh and lets not forget HB2 and all of the other anti LGBT laws passed by individual states since then.
here's what compromise actually means: an agreement or a settlement of a dispute that is reached by each side making concessions.
"Concessions" to what they believe is right. Therefore, everyone agrees to do what nobody thinks is right. Which never really happens until one group imposes their will upon another group by force.
Another consideration is that while compromise is good, people generally view compromising their morals and values to be unethical. One of the problems is both the left and the right view each other's values as immoral. That's a hurdle that is virtually impossible to overcome.
I don't know why people are so against tighter gun laws. There is absolutely no reason why anybody needs an assault rifle, none.
It's not about "need", and yes, we need them to defend freedom from those who would trespass it.
