I am a lefty but even so I do not hate the right at all. I like to make jokes and so forth but all in all I pretty much understand all the right's issues. Some of them I agree with. What I don't get is the extreme hate I hear coming out of the right. Venomous invective being thrown at Clinton and Obama. It is pretty raw emotions being displayed and it is very hard to find common ground with people who wear their emotions on their sleeves like that.

Do you hear similar coming from your side? Or, if you don't, is it because you agree with it?

SS is NOT a pyramid scheme keep your grubby hands off other people's money so you can pay to bomb countries in the middle east. people have been paying into SS their whole working lives for retirement, not to fund WARS!
If anyone is forced to buy any "service" they neither want nor receive, that is by definition theft and extortion. Mostly, theses "services" are to fix problems created by government in the first place, those "services" are racketeering by definition. All of the above are evil and immoral.

Government "services" should operate like any other business.

Let those who want to use infrastructure, hire protection, and fight wars pay for it. And of course they are free to refuse those services to those who don't. See how peaceful, voluntary, cooperation among human beings works...oh, yeah, I doubt it as you are defending the vile and evil institution of violence and coercion called "government"...

SS IS a pyramid scheme. No one could invest their money in anything that would have such a horrible return over their lifetime. If people had invested that percentage of their income in the stock market over their lifetimes, they would all be millionaires instead of getting the meager poverty checks that they now receive at retirement. And since the money is not being invested by the criminal government that spends it faster than it comes in, you will always need more slaves paying into it than who are receiving it. That is a ponzii scheme. If any American was offering SS as a service in their community and operating it like government, they would be in jail, period.

By the way, "republicans" and "democrats", "left" and "right", are all disgusting thugs and tyrants towards their neighbors. Using government aggression, violence, and coercion to impose their personal whims upon their fellow man.

GOP, leave the abortion issue alone, Dems, start admitting we have a terrible illegal immigration problem and sanctuary cities are only making the problem worse.

didn't we all learn how to compromise in kindergarten?
Stop with the false equivalencies nonsense. On the Left you have pro-gun control and anti-gun control working together. You have pro-life and pro-choice. You have pro-tax cuts and anti-tax cuts. The Left manages to work towards common goals, despite all the differences bc we don't demand ideological purity. We're open to changing the platform without alienating or members.

The Right has none of that. They can't even negotiate with themselves, yet you think it's both sides causing this impasse? Hello no!

The Left could even accommodate Center Right Republicans into the dialogue and actually run this govt and country like responsible legislators. It's the hard Right that's stopping this govt & country from functioning.

Furthermore... there is nothing about the AR-15 that makes it inherently more dangerous than other rifles of the same caliber. It might LOOK scary but that isn't a reason to ban it.

Besides, we had a 'assault' weapons ban for 10 years. What did that solve? Nothing.

Nobody has an assault rifle? Well they are rare to be seen, but there are millions out there the government knows nothing about, as intended with the 2nd Amendment.

The Thompson sub-machine gun, is still in production. It is sold as a semi-auto these days, but it is not a gun designed to hunt with at all, with it's .45ACP round. It is a tactical offensive and defensive firearm. This weapon is so easy to add a happy switch like the original 1927 A-1 has.

There are so many fully automatic weapons hidden in people homes, that government has no clue exist and no way of knowing they exist, until WW-III breaks out on our soil.

No bias in that statement... none at all.lol

So only the far right won't compromise???? Interesting.

As one who is neither far right, nor far left.... I don't see ANY who label themselves compromising on anything.

GOP compromise? They have a derogatory term for those folks (because they are great at derision), they're called RINO's. Fundamentslists aren't just in the middle east.

You have to remember that for many of these people, including who you quoted, "far right" is actually translated as "anyone who doesn't believe exactly as I do".

The difference is you want to ADD rights for your group and TAKE away rights that we already have.
