Why should ordinary workers be forced to compete with prison slave labor? Its a way to reduce labor costs for corporations and another weapon against salt of the earth Americans.

Very true, although the focus has long & lately been on the 'job creators' to create jobs. It doesn't seem to matter (to them) if the jobs are in other Countries, or in prisons. It should surprise no one.
