Being against illegals isn't racist. Bringing ethnicity into this is though.
We've been over and over this numerous times. Just because someone points out that it is mostly Mexicans here illegally does not make them a racist. It is just a fact not racism.
I suggest you don't pull the race card in this issue. Most anti-illegal immigrationists don't care what race an illegal is they just want them all out of here. It would be no different if these were mostly Canadians either so put your race card back in your wallet.
Did you even read what I said?
ALL squares are rectangles, but NOT ALL rectangles are squares.
ALL racists are against immigration, but NOT ALL people against immigration are racists.

I disagree that all racists are against immigration. What if "immigration" is of their own racial group? The topic is illegal immigration anyway which are two different things.
The USA is and has been all about the exploitation of one group of persons or another. For many decades It sure seemed that Many Americans encouraged illegal immigrants to come to the USA. They were and still asre a very good source of low paid workers who can be treated unfairly, given the worst kinds of grunt work and in short just a very handy and easy bunch of people who can be exploited. It looks good on you now that it's come back to bite you in the azz.
This whole argument is dumb. What if the illegals were from Europe or Canada?
I'm sure some of it has to do with racism, but most of it is because being an illegal alien is against the law. If these people are willing to come here illegally, what other illegal acts might they commit?

You're assuming illegal immigration comes from only one ethnicity, which is completely wrong. You do know illegal immigration comes from everywhere, yes? So to focus it to only one ethnic group (Latinos and Latinas in our country's case this time around) is actually being racist instead of addressing illegal immigration from everywhere. Why not focus on illegal immigration from Asia, why all the focus on the Americas? (By the way, immigration from Mexico has been on the DECLINE).
In MOST states in recent times, illegal immigrants are mostly from China and India. So what about Asian illegal immigration? Why don't we hear anything about that?
The fact the media, and one particular candidate, is focused more on Central and South American immigration much more than Asian immigration despite the numbers saying otherwise would point to racist intentions. If there was no racism involved in this, wouldn't the media report the Asian immigration more as there are the numbers to prove more immigration is coming from Asia? Why is that not the case?
Again, ALL racists are against immigration, but NOT ALL people against immigration are racists. I'm saying there are racist ties in part of the illegal immigration arguments, and they are very prominent, but they are not shared with by all people against illegal immigration.
If you don't think racism is a big factor in the illegal immigration arguments, especially against Hispanics, come visit Arizona some time.
If illegal immigration isn't stopped, we will continue to get more of the same until our country becomes their country. That is not racism, it is common sense.
Native Americans certainly resent all the unauthorized immigration.
What country was it before and what about those here before them?
