Its a fruitless attempt but I respect those that got it on the ballot and hope it passes either way.

Banning first trimester abortions is a horrible idea.

Abortion is a medical procedure that is only a concern between the patient and the physician. It is not my business and damn well not yours.

Once the baby is in the third trimester and is a living feeling human, it's not any different from the premie down in the NICU. Do you believe premies in the NICU are not people but property without any rights?

So it first needs 1,000 signatures, then after that it will need 305k signatures to actually pass.

Is this a normal initiative process, or is this Ohio specific?

We are no longer the property of any man or the property of a fetus.

A fetus cannot "own" a woman's body and use it against her will, in effect, enslaving her. It is the woman's choice to allow a fetus to use her body. Her body, her CHOICE.

We are now free and have body autonomy, just like any man.....and that isn't going to change.

Should babies in the NICU born premature be considered property and have no rights?

What it would do if passed - is spend a whole lot of tax payer money in the courts that could be used for better purposes .

All babies are completely dependent on others to survive. That is why they are so very cute.

This is an important debate as we will be seeing a LOT more microcephalic fetuses due to Zika virus infections. I do not know when this deadly deformity can be diagnosed but no matter when that is this unviable non person should be aborted.

It would be illegal to abort {without extenuating circumstances such as life of the mother or severe fetal deformity} at the gestational time those babies were born, so what's your point?

Apples/oranges.
