there is a big difference between ''exposing corruption'' the correct way (whistle blower)....
and lying about his military service (flunked out of basic training), lying to get a job(that lasted only 3 months before his crime, lying to get the access (he was a computer tech, not an analyst, and NEVER should have had access to ANY documents...his job was to FIX the computers/networks and install software) , stealing classified information, and then releasing that classified information to other countries

Seems your the only guy out here that doesn't have a clue as to what Snowden did, or was capable of doing. Everyone else has already looked at all the information out there from independent sources. All you doing is "Parroting" what the crooks wanted us to think when he first went public. The "Demonize" and discredit your enemy trick is so old, worn out and has been used so many times, only Lamers still believe it.
We have criminals like past president that lied to us about the war and sending troops unnecessarily based on false information. Why are they not in jail?

I was under the impression that Snowden told Americans, that their phone calls, social media was being monitored by the Govt. I thought that was the extent of it.
It was. After he exposed it, they claimed they where not doing it. He leaked information again that proved they did do it. Then they admitted they did do it, but did not listen in or record actual calls. Snowden leaked more information that proved they did,. Then they admitted that they did have the capabilities and could do it. They tried to smear Snowden as a "Nobody" that did not have any access to that information, pr the "Know How" but News Media uncovered and exposed that as a lie too. He did have access, and he did have the knowledge, even working on special projects that required top Computer people. Its all documented and out there to read. He tried several times to report the wrong doing, through regular channels and superiors, but they where a part of the system, and the reports where buried. So he went public, and Obama was forced to stop the illegal portions of the program.
After Snowden exposed the spying, this came out also. Proof that illegal spying was an everyday normal occurrence and abused regularly. Nothing the few "Apologists" here can defend with their "spinning" of propaganda. Read it.....
