$38 Billion to Israel and allowed them to continue settlement building and violating international law. I somehow don't think "Jew Hater" would accurately describe him.

He also in turn dropped over 26,000 bombs on the Muslim world in 2016 alone. Let that sink in for a minute.

Only antisemites do not want to give even more money to Israel.

Only those with blind eyes and closed minds are unable to distinguish the vast difference between practitioners of a particular religion and a nation.

I can see where all the UN vote and all that foreign aid helped put Israel on a new path and I can see they reacted favorably to the Trump presidency. Netanyahu's claim that the UN vote would make it difficult to negotiate a two state solution later on is pretty much laughable, there won't be anything left for a two state solution. A few decades down the road Arabs will outnumber Jews in a Jewish state, either way this doesn't end well for anybody. If they are going to take our aid they could at least listen to us.

The announcement made clear that just a few days into the Trump presidency, the Israeli government feels emboldened to shake off the constraints imposed by the Obama administration and more willing to disregard international condemnation.
Leaders from 70 countries met in Paris more than a week ago and issued a warning that the two-state peace solution was imperiled by Israel’s expanding of settlements in Palestinian-claimed territory in the West Bank and East Jerusalem, as well as violence against Israelis. But even though Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has endorsed the principle of side-by-side states, in the past few days Israel’s campaign of settlement building has only accelerated.
The first step came on Sunday, when the Jerusalem City Council approved 566 new housing units in East Jerusalem that had been delayed over President Barack Obama’s objections.

Then on Tuesday, the Israeli government announced that 2,500 new housing units would be built in the West Bank. Officials said most would be built in “settlement blocs,” referring to areas of the West Bank that Israel has long intended to keep under any future agreement with the Palestinians, possibly in return for land swaps along the boundary that separated Israel from the West Bank before the 1967 war. But in years of failed negotiations, the Israelis and Palestinians have never agreed on the size or location of such blocs

....
The US appropriations has nothing to do with the settlements. The settlements are paid for by primarily private donations made by American/Canadian Jews.

Trump is criticizing those in NATO for not doing enough yet here we have Israel, the fact that we provide them support constantly works against us, they are more a liability than a benefit.

Israel does listen to the US has to say, BUT Israel does not take orders from the US. As to your "aid" comment, it is not "aid". It is related to two treaties the US penned itself into. They are the Egypt-Israel Treaty and the Jordan-Israel Treaty. Israel cannot do anything they want with the funds. Israel must spend it in the US in the Military sector.

As to the two state solution, it's been dead in the water ever since the Hamas coup of the Gaza Strip. Until the two territories are under one leadership, it will never move forward.

It doesn't appear that Israel has listened to this president or any other regarding the settlements but they are perfect willing to take our military aid, call it whatever you want.

If the 2 state solution is dead then Netanyahu should just stop lying and be honest rather than creating this high drama with the UN condemning his actions and his imaginary upcoming negotiations.
