Instead of thinking of the media as an entity which is somehow separate from human existence. Understand that the media is simply made up of people. It is functionally a person. And every person's primary motivation is looking out for, and otherwise furthering their own interests.
So who is the media? Well, we tend to assume the media is comprised only of the people who own the company, or the people who directly work for it(the news anchors, pundits, etc); But the thing the media needs more than anything else, is money. It could not exist without money.
These media companies are worth billions, and earn billions a year, and from where? From advertisers and other sponsors.
The media must do as the money tells them to do, or they would not exist. Which is the reason why, "the media isn't left-leaning, it is money-leaning", and will always be.
As much as the democrats pretend that they are the "party of the people". Hillary Clinton is the candidate of big-business. And for that matter, Obama was also the candidate of big-business.
I mean, imagine for a moment that you are a Wall-Street investor. The thing you're afraid of the most, is instability. And Trump could easily lead to instability, in a time where the market is already unstable.
If you aren't a moron, you're going to throw all your money and resources behind the candidate that will make you the most money. And the truth is, the globalist Hillary Clinton is simply a better investment.
And the difference isn't a few thousand dollars. These people stand to make, or lose, tens of billions. And collectively, even into the trillions. So throwing a few million behind a candidate is nothing.

Matthews is as much of a newscaster as Hannity. They aren't.
They are purely opinion, and nothing else.
If you don't realize that, maybe you should turn of the TV and Radio.
Today's media is much like the former PRADVA in the USSR (government media).
The thing is that unlike PRAVDA, no one is forcing media to comply or face the gulag.
So it is because of ideological similarity that they fail to hold the current administration accountable, whereas they will when a conservative is in the WH.
It is really that simple.

The thing is plannine, there are people that actually believe every word that comes out of both Matthew mouth and believe it's news, they don't realize Matthews job is to get Hillary in there. And by the way, I don't watch Hannity.
Headed for a totalitarian news media. One sided to brainwash the masses.
Actually, we're already there.
