I doubt Russian men are becoming as soft. When decades from now the effeminate men of America hiss like sissies at their tough Russian male adversaries it will be quite humorous.
Apparently, men can now be categorized as "menstruators" or "non-menstruators." So for example, Ralph Lifs*itz (Lauren) might ask himself "I wonder what the metrosexual menstruator will think of this eyeliner color?"

Here’s a novel stat: South Korea accounts for about 20% of the world market for men’s cosmetics. This means annual sales of more than $1 billion courtesy of a mere 25 million men, and this figure will inflate by 50% over the next five years. On a per capita level, Korean men have everyone beat. Why? Because “appearance is power” and “youth equals ability.”
We’re not just talking skin lotions or aftershave here. Korean urbanites are also smitten with BB Cream, brow pencils and guyliner. Girlfriends and spouses not only shop cosmetics for their male partners in Seoul, but also casually apply lipstick to their faces in public without anyone sharpening the proverbial pitchforks.
That said, shouldn’t gender-bending be a complete no-no in the deeply Confucian culture of Korea? Also, befitting its two years of mandatory military service for young men, shouldn’t Korea’s benchmark for masculine beauty be the hardy, rugged type? Like Clark Gable? Even Bruce Lee? While that was once true, South Koreans now prize the puckish, Peter Pan look over Gerard Butler-esque alpha male chic.
The actor, Gary Sinise, wore eye makeup in one of his movies, something to do with a mission to Mars, I think.
I thought it was sexy!
Most movie stars wear makeup, as do most media heads. I'd imagine Trump wears makeup as well; he's on TV enough that he very likely does. It's subtle, obviously, and frankly... he should get a less orange colored shade.
But don't worry, fake tanning isn't contrary to masculinity, nor is whining when someone criticized you. He's a man's man. A get **** done type of man, despite no prior political experience to indicate anything of the sort.
Can confirm that country is really leading the way in this, metrosexual male movement. At least in the big cities, I don't know what it is like in the rural areas, maybe the same.
Also South Korea has a incredibly huge plastic surgery fad going on. Not just a simple procedure like fixing a scar, we are talking about night and day changes, almost like the movie Face Off, where somewhere gets a new face. It is incredible what they can do to a girl in a hour or two.
The funny thing is, maybe 2 or 3 decades ago, South Koreans would look and laugh at Japan and other feminized East Asian countries. Then they did a flip flop and became the leader. It is amazing how quickly a society can change. I mean 2-3 decades seems long, but in the big picture, that is literally a second in history.
Side note, huge smokers there. I think over half the males were smokers.
