The only solution Hillary and other Democrats have on the ACA are the massive tax hikes needed to fund the monster of government-mandated health insurance.

Hillary can use all of the euphemisms (revenue enhancements) for this she can find,

but in the end Obamacare will bleed taxpayers dry.

Democrats were going to do it without Republicans. "RAM IT THROUGH!" was the clarion call on Salon.com, and 20-somethings said guaranteeing payment on rising hospital and drug costs was going to stop hospital and drug costs from rising.

The icing on the cake was Jon Gruber saying, "Lack of transparency is a huge political advantage," and calling Americans "too stupid to understand" Obamacare.

Democrats love taxes..... It's better to be low income and high net worth when Democrats are in power. In other words it's better to already be rich or Democrats will bleed you dry.

Correct, but this time w/o 60 Senate votes, she can't. Thank God.

So, you support a C-list reality television star who has no idea what Obamacare even is but insists the answer is to repeal it and throw 20 million people off health insurance.

Philadelphia is predominantly Democrat. I have to wonder what they are going to say when they see their Obamacare rates go up 53% next week when open enrolment begins: Unpleasant Changes In Affordable Care Marketplace « CBS Philly. According to that link there are only two insurers left in Philadelphia.

I'm really wondering who pays the extra subsidies and where does that money come from?

Nothing in life is free.

This is inexcusable, and one of the barriers to truly affordable health care.
I would also posit, as several in this thread have already mentioned, that another huge part of the problem is the sheer very high percentage of obese Americans with all their associated higher health care costs.

Bingo!

And the BIG mistake Dems are making on this is that many boomers are already there, while many millennials are struggling. So... there's no longer enough to tax no matter how high they raise the tax rates.

Obamacare. Just another scheme to line the pockets of the insurance companies. Wait until the government subsides end and they will.

What's needed is a Medicare type program where everybody pays an income structured fee. However, this would greatly overload the current medical system to the point where seeing a doctor would take months and some medical procedures could take up to a year. (Look at other countries where they have socialized medicine). Before we put such a plan in effect we need to subsidized medical education to ensure there are enough doctors and other personnel to meet the demands.

Under Obamacare we have a forced system where the insurance companies can cherry pick their insurees and jack up the rates to ensure their profits remain in the billions.
