In yet another left-wing conspiracy against conservatives, specifically patriots, a ranking member of the Committee on Homeland Security made an outrageous statement that militia groups are mobilizing and could act if Donald Trump loses the election.
Right-wing posters on this board have promised that this is exactly what's going to happen. Trump followers in interviews have done the same. Did they lie?

Let's see, based upon the Bush years, when Republicans held the White House, the Senate and the House, Republicans passed tax-cuts for the rich and deregulation for the corporations. Democrats, when they were on power, passed Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid, SNAP and the rest of the social programs that help ordinary Americans and the poor.

Those policies are very popular that has gotten many Democrats elected.

Of course, the Republicans lie to America and tell them that tax cuts on the rich really help middle-class Americans, which there is no factual evidence.

Republicans tell the truth and Democrats lie? Let's look at the evidence:

Comparing Hillary Clinton, Donald Trump on the Truth-O-Meter

Clinton's statements are most true.
Trump's statements are mostly false.

all the programs you mentioned were pushed AFTER democrats were elected, not before.

as for the stuff about republicans, they benefited EVERYONE.

but my point was not what programs were passed, but rather if the democrats told everyone what they REALLY wanted to do, that is eliminate the constitution, so they could control the people, they would never win any elections. imagine if hillary decided to step up and tell the country that she really wanted to repeal the second amendment by any means possible, and take away every citizens guns, and control everyones speech, where they work, etc. do you really think any one would vote for her?

A) Sorry, slashing taxes on the rich benefited the rich and nobody else. What you are buying into is the discredited trickle down theory.

B) You are giving us a good view of what's wrong with today's Republicans, they believe in demonization, conspiracy theories and and falsehoods impersonating facts. No elected Democrat has advocated what you said they advocate, namely "tak[ing] away every citizens guns, and control everyone's speech, where they work, etc." I dare you to find the quotes.

What you call taking away guns is really the sensible idea of background checks.

This.

Just on the issue of wanting to increase by 550 percent the number of unvetted (by her own admission) Syrian Muslims coming in to the country fifteen years after 9-11, Hillary should lose in a landslide.
