Hopefully, as was the case of the Nixon/Agnew duo, during the next few years one member of the Trump/Pence duo will be convicted of a crime and sent to prison, and the other will be forced to resign without finishing his term. Then some dumb innocuous guy from their party can finish out their term.
I wish what the original poster said was true, but I can't see it happening. Nixon was a paranoid and liar, and that in itself is not necessarily a handicap amongst politicians, especially in Washington D.C. He just got caught, and again, it was his insane paranoia that made him tape every conversation that did him in. Those were different times too. By and large most people were decent human beings back then, not like these stupid, unethical, compassion less, dumbed down folks that currently dominate America. This is Idiocracy become reality now.
THIS president, and the people around him like God Bless America David Duke, are far, far more dangerous and evil. Just look at the posts from his supporters on this forum. Hate filled, racist, misogynist. Just like our new supreme leader. The danger cannot be underestimated because even when Trump is caught doing something illegal, the right wing now controls both houses in Washington and will soon control the majority on the Supreme Court w/ their eventual nominee. There will be no will to impeach him, and not enough votes to do it in any case.
